NAI James E. Hanson has expanded its property management team with two of its newest hires.
The real estate services firm said Tuesday that Rita Tignini and Raquel Perez have joined its headquarters in Teterboro. They will serve as a property accountant and an accounts receivable bookkeeper for NAI Hanson’s property management platform, which has a portfolio of more than 6 million square feet of commercial space in New Jersey.
Tignini brings more than 10 years of real estate accounting experience to her new role at NAI Hanson, having most recently served as a regional accountant and senior property accountant at First Industrial Realty Group. In that role, she was responsible for assisting with the firm’s New Jersey region real estate portfolio through performing full-cycle accounting duties, directing the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts and report variances.
Prior to that, Tignini was a senior property accountant for Tishman Speyer LLC and Deutsche Bank Real Estate.
Perez has nine years of experience in accounts receivable roles, NAI Hanson said in a news release. She most recently served as the accounts receivable clerk at Urban American Property Management, where she was responsible for managing tenant payments, assisting the legal and finance departments and tenant relations.
“Our accounting team is an integral part of our property management team’s success as they ensure we are able to operate at the highest levels of profitability,” said Virginia Conrad, NAI Hanson’s chief financial officer. “Both Rita and Raquel’s strong backgrounds will provide support to all members of our team and will allow us to continue providing our clients with the superior service they have come to expect from NAI James E. Hanson.
“We are looking forward to the value that they both will add to our team’s daily operations and the continued long-term growth of our property management group.”
