The owner of a new apartment complex in Union has partnered with some of the area’s top employers on a series of incentives aimed at drawing renters to the property.
The firm, DP Property Management LLC, announced that it has launched a preferred employer program at its recently opened, 130-unit property known as Summit Court. To that end, Union County first responders, active duty military, veterans and employees of participating businesses are eligible for discounts such as two free months of rent on a 14-month lease.
Participating businesses to date include the likes of Bed Bath & Beyond, Elizabeth Town Gas Co., Kean University, Merck & Co., Overlook Medical Center and PSE&G.
“Given Summit Court’s proximity to major employers in the area, and an easy commute to and from New York City via NJ Transit, Union is fast becoming a hot spot for employees seeking luxury rentals,” said Nicholas Minoia, founder and principal of Montville-based DP Property Management, an affiliate of Diversified Properties LLC. “Our Preferred Employer Program enables companies throughout Union County to be more competitive by offering a valuable perk that provides meaningful savings. We are also honored to give back to those who serve our communities and our country through this incentive program.”
The program also offers savings of $425 on application and amenity fees, which the owner will waive, along with six months of free on-site storage, according to a news release. Total savings under the program can add up to $6600 in the first 14-month period.
Located at 450 Clermont Terrace, Summit Court opened last spring and is just a mile from the Union rail station and Kean University. The property offers luxury one- and two-bedroom apartments with on-site amenities such as a fitness studio with Peloton bikes and virtual Fitness on Demand, a coffee bar, game area and furnished courtyard.
