A local real estate firm has purchased a strip center along Route 17 in Paramus, in one of several newly announced deals by The Goldstein Group.
The Glen Rock-based buyer, VanRock Properties LLC, paid an undisclosed sum for the 14,230-square-foot property at 163 Route 17 South, according to a news release. The Goldstein Group Executive Vice President Lew Finkelstein represented the purchaser, noting that the site is leased to TD Ameritrade and Men’s Warehouse, while Greg Panayoti of NIA National Realty represented the seller, R&P Bombardieri.
Meantime, Finkelstein and The Goldstein Group Vice President CJ Huter represented 588 Broadway Associates LLC in its sale of 588 Broadway, a 2,800-square-foot former Chase Bank facility in Norwood. Jason Lee of Eastern Realty represented the buyer, KNBOO LLC.
Finkelstein and Huter also brokered the sale of a freestanding building in Newark, at 463 Lyons Ave., representing both seller and buyer in the deal between EFM Corp and 463 Lyons LLC, respectively. They noted that the structure is adjacent to Lyons Plaza, which is home to Super Fresh Supermarkets, Snipes, Metro PCS, Blimpie’s, Popeyes, Gamestop, Golden Krust and Rent-A-Center.
“We continue to see activity in the market as investors and users remain interested in purchasing properties even in the current climate,” said Chuck Lanyard, president of The Goldstein Group.
