A longtime broker with The Blau & Berg Co. has earned the coveted membership designation with the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.
Laura Crimmins, an executive director with the Short Hills-based firm, is the latest in the company to reach the milestone and performance benchmark. She’s also now among only about 80 brokers in New Jersey and 3,600 in 45 countries to hold the designation.
“Laura joining the ranks of SIOR and being recognized as an industry leader is a remarkable feat,” said Alessandro Conte, an executive vice president with Blau & Berg and former president of the SIOR New Jersey Chapter. “Licensed since 1994, Laura has continued to position herself in a manner to best suit her clients’ needs.”
As the firm noted, an SIOR designee must meet strict criteria that includes extensive industry experience, a volume threshold, endorsements from current designees, impeccable ethics and educational requirements. Crimmins has been with Blau & Berg since 2009 and is responsible for the acquisition and disposition of land, industrial, residential and commercial properties, as well as site selection.
“We are so proud of Laura becoming one of the newest members of the SIOR,” said Jason Crimmins, president of Blau & Berg and also a former SIOR New Jersey president. “Her leadership and involvement within our company has been in direct correlation with her success over the years. The Society of Industrial Realtors, SIOR, has played a large part within the rich culture of The Blau & Berg Company. To become part of the SIOR organization is a tremendous achievement.”
