R.J. Brunelli & Co. LLC has hired Peter Nicholson as a senior sales associate, the retail brokerage announced Thursday.
Nicholson, who has more than 30 years of sales and management experience in the real estate and chemical industries, joins the Old Bridge-based firm after 17 years with Metro Commercial Real Estate in Mount Laurel. He has represented landlords and tenants on leases and sales.
During his tenure with Metro Commercial, Nicholson completed leases with a total revenue consideration of more than $300 million for more than 200 tenants, R.J. Brunelli said in a news release. Those tenants include Home Depot, Stop & Shop, LA Fitness and Marshall’s.
“We are pleased to welcome Pete to the R.J. Brunelli & Co. family. As we transition and modernize our firm to position for future growth, we know the importance of building a diverse team of agents to address our clients’ needs,” Ron DeLuca, CEO and principal of R.J. Brunelli, said in a prepared statement. “Pete’s experience and longstanding respect within the New Jersey and Pennsylvania retail real estate community has already been positively impactful to our firm.”
In his capacity as a landlord representative, he most recently served as leasing and de facto project manager on several shopping centers undergoing redevelopment, the news release said. Prior to joining Metro Commercial in 1999, Nicholson worked for global chemicals manufacturer Rohm and Haas Co., starting as a development engineer in 1978.
The Madison resident graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1978 with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
