Vision Real Estate Partners has taken the wraps off its newly completed overhaul at an office building in downtown Morristown, where it has also debuted a series of new amenities.
The 145,358-square-foot property, 1776 On the Green, is a well-known complex in the heart of the town’s central business district. Vision has sought to capitalize on that location with renovations to the lobby and new features such as a roof deck with seating, charging stations, a wet bar and umbrellas, one that offers views of the Morristown Green and the downtown.
The roof deck also features an attached indoor lounge with shuffleboard, televisions, high-top tables and refrigeration options, Vision said, touting it as an option for corporate functions year-round. The space currently spans 2,500 square feet with an additional 600 square feet available for a potential future expansion.
“Our investment at 1776 On the Green creates a modern aesthetic and a distinct office experience for tenants, their employees and their guests,” said Sam Morreale, managing partner and co-founder of Vision Real Estate Partners. “The new rooftop deck takes full advantage of the building’s exceptional location and provides access to the outdoors as an unexpected third space for collaborating and hosting events.”

Vision acquired the building, which is located at 67 East Park Place, in 2017 and simultaneously announced its renovation plans. Since then, the 10-story property has attracted new tenants such as JLL, formerly HFF, and Hartford Fire Insurance Group.
Upcoming plans for the property include the renovation of the adjacent Headquarters Plaza and the addition of a restaurant, which will be located on the first floor. The plaza will be renovated from the ground up and is slated to receive new pavers, seating, event and market space as well as other significant upgrades.
In a news release, Vision highlighted 1776 On the Green’s proximity to public transportation and the retail and restaurant offerings of downtown Morristown. The building also features a new designated curb cut drop-off area that it says is ideal for ridesharing.
