The Walsh Co. has made another addition to its leadership and project management team, tapping an industry veteran as a principal and executive vice president.
Brian Tobiasz joins the Morristown-based firm with nearly 30 years of experience in construction, development and project management, having worked with both owners and tenants, the company said. Additionally, Walsh touted his experience as an estimator.
“Brian’s experience and expertise will bolster Walsh Company’s already strong group of professionals,” the firm said in its announcement. “In addition to overseeing projects, he will focus on managing operations and company growth as we continue to expand our client list and services.”
Founded in 2003 by Ed Walsh and relaunched in fall 2019, the company has made a host of key additions over the past year. While expanding into areas such as environmental solutions and growing its geographic footprint, it has also fortified its construction and project management platform with leading professionals such as Tobiasz, a former Walsh colleague.
Tobiasz, a U.S. Air Force veteran, has also held project management and leadership roles with Newmark and Avison Young. He has a degree in construction management from New York University.
