Walters Homes is expanding its corporate footprint in Ocean County, with plans to open a new office building in Ship Bottom that will bring four of its divisions under one roof.
The firm said this week that the new 5,790-square-foot building was under construction at 701 Central Ave. With delivery slated for summer 2019, the two-story property will house a Walters Homes sales office, Walters Realty, Walters Architecture LLC and design center.
The building will be the second sales location for Walters Homes, which maintains a sales office at 880 Mill Creek Road in Manahawkin and corporate offices in Barnegat.
“This will be an ideal location to serve clients looking to build a new home in the Long Beach Island region,” said Matthew Gaudet-Walters, a sales associate with the firm. “Each of our four divisions offers unique resources to assist clients, including sales, design guidance, land acquisition, teardown opportunities as well as mortgage and title insurance services.
“Our aim is to offer an enhanced experience by providing a full range of services.”
Last year, Walters Homes expanded its services to include Walters Realty, which is headed by broker Patrick Bocchicchio, and Walters Architecture LLC, led by Arnold Boyle.
The new building is designed to meet the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED standards, short for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, the firm said. Walters Homes will occupy 4,730 square feet, while 1,060 square feet will be leased to an undisclosed restaurant.
