Wolf Commercial Real Estate has hired a new director of community relations, with the goal of expanding its reach with local officials and businesses throughout the state.
The Marlton-based firm this week announced the hiring of David Spector, who brings nearly a decade of experience in community and political outreach. That includes several positions as a campaign worker or aide to elected officials in southern New Jersey.
In the new role, Spector will work closely with elected officials, economic development offices and community leaders to strengthen WCRE’s connections in the areas in which it does business.
“As a firm that works closely with a wide variety of communities and businesses, we are excited to be partnering with someone like David who can help our clients to build stronger relationships with their neighbors throughout the Garden State,” said Jason Wolf, founder and managing principal of WCRE. “David brings WCRE strong relationships with leaders throughout the region as well as the ability to establish new ones.
“We are very excited to bring our clients these new possibilities.”
Spector has served as a councilman in Bellmawr and was a fellow at Rutgers University’s Eagleton Institute of Politics, according to a news release. He started his career in politics working on campaigns for officials such as Donald Norcross, now a U.S. Congressman, and state Senator James Beach.
WCRE also noted that Spector has been an aide to Sen. Fred Madden, Assemblyman Paul Moriarty and Assemblywoman Gabriela Mosquera, where he spearheaded communications, social media and constituent relations. Additionally, he has built relationships with community organizations throughout South Jersey, including the Jewish Community Relations Council, Community Planning & Advocacy Council and the American Red Cross.
