Gretchen Wilcox, CEO, president and founder of G.S. Wilcox & Co., has been appointed to the national board of a commercial real estate development association and to the executive board of the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce, the firm announced.
With the former, a nearly 50-year-old group that has more than 18,000 members nationally, she will serve as a New Jersey representative. Both appointments are the latest in a long line of prominent posts that Wilcox has held with the organizations.
“I am extremely honored to be given an opportunity to contribute on the national stage to one of the most prestigious commercial real estate organizations in the United States,” said Wilcox, whose firm is based in Morristown. Of the chamber appointment, she added that “the opportunity to join the executive board of the leading business advocacy organization in the state and actively play a role in promoting economic growth is extremely fulfilling.”
Wilcox’s firm, which she founded in 1994, is the only female-founded commercial real estate mortgage banking firm in the U.S. The company provides debt and equity solutions to a long list of commercial real estate owners in New Jersey and elsewhere.
