A new ShopRite Wines and Spirits store has filled the space of a former Pathmark in Clifton, according to the firms involved in the 34,000-square-foot deal.
KW Commercial MTD Realty Group said Monday that it had completed the lease at 895 Paulison Ave., representing the tenant in conjunction with Crossroads Cos. and Supermarket Consulting Group. ShopRite is using 16,500 square feet of the master-leased space, while about 18,000 square feet is available for sublease.
Carlo Caparruva of KW Commercial, Robert Volosin of Supermarket Consulting Group and Stephen Hittman of Crossroads handled the assignment for ShopRite Wines and Spirits.
“The new ShopRite Wines and Spirits location will be well positioned to serve the residents of Clifton, Passaic and the surrounding area,” Caparruva, whose firm is based in Maplewood, said in a prepared statement. “This expansive 16,000-square-foot concept has everything you could want, plus the store finishes are exquisite.”
Volosin added: “When we were seeking a location for the ShopRite Wine and Spirits concept, we were fortunate to find one in the heart of our target market. (The) location and traffic are second to none.”
