Heritage Capital Group has hired Colliers International Group to be its exclusive leasing agent for 550 Broad Street, a 270,000-square-foot office tower in downtown Newark.
In a news release Monday, Colliers said that Bryn Cinque, James Bailey and Steve Graziano of the firm’s Parsippany office are heading the marketing team for the property. The building, which is visible from Interstate 280 and Route 21, has availabilities ranging from 2,500 to 65,000 square feet.
Colliers said the property has undergone major renovations in recent months, including a fully remodeled lobby, a café and a new fitness center, the news release said. Tenants also have views of the Manhattan skyline and Newark’s Washington Park, 24/7 access with a staffed security desk, a full-service restaurant, storage facilities, dedicated parking and on-site ownership and management.
“550 Broad Street has long benefited from its status as a landmark Newark office property,” Cinque said in a prepared statement. “Businesses are drawn by the building’s accessible CBD location, and they choose to remain here based on its quality accommodations and responsive, hands-on ownership.”
The Broad Street train station is within walking distance, while private shuttle service is provided to and from Broad Street and Newark Penn stations. A Newark light rail stop located adjacent to the building.
Colliers also noted that building signage is available.
“This neighborhood is in the midst of a renaissance, with the new Prudential headquarters, stepped-up office leasing, and residential and high-end retail development underway,” Bailey said. “Within that context, 550 Broad Street is well-positioned to benefit from this growing momentum.”
