Wolf Commercial Real Estate has launched a new debt and equity platform as part of an effort to expand its services in the southern New Jersey and Philadelphia regions.
The Marlton-based firm on Thursday announced the formation of WCRE Capital Advisors, an entity that will be led by WCRE Founder Jason Wolf and Andrew Beauchemin, who joins the team from Rittenhouse Capital Advisors. With their new venture and more than 30 years of combined experience, they will look to leverage their longstanding relationships with banks and other lenders across the region to provide advisory services on debt and equity financing.
“We are always looking for ways to improve our level of service for our clients,” Wolf said. “Adding a financing team is a natural progression for us, considering the size and scope of our regional client portfolio.”
Wolf, who entered commercial real estate in 1995 at Colliers International, founded WCRE in early 2012 and has led the firm’s growth. That has included a recent move into Philadelphia. Beauchemin brings experience from the ownership side, according to a news release, having spent the early years of his career managing commercial office buildings with owner, operator and developer Monday Properties in Washington, D.C.
“It’s an exciting time to be partnering with Wolf,” Beauchemin said. “He has always had a great reputation in the South Jersey market, and with WCRE’s recent expansion into Philadelphia and Pennsylvania, there is a lot of opportunity to both build on existing, and create new successful relationships.”
With Monday Properties, Beauchemin managed day-to-day operations, capital projects and construction and financial performance, the news release said. He also successfully renewed U.S. Green Building Council certifications and assisted ownership during an $888 million refinance of the portfolio in 2016.
Beauchemin moved to Philadelphia in 2017 and served as a business development originator at Rittenhouse Capital Advisors, where he originated and underwrote commercial and multifamily debt and equity. He was born and raised in South Jersey.
