A candy and sweets importer is relocating from New York after acquiring a 27,000-square-foot building in Middlesex Borough, The Boniakowski Commercial Real Estate Group announced.
Todd Gannet, a senior vice president with the brokerage firm, represented both parties in the sale of the property at 900 Lincoln Blvd. He said the undisclosed buyer, a high-end importer, was drawn to the opportunity to move to a larger building that will accommodate its rapid growth.
Gannet also recently brokered the sale of a 1,100-square-foot retail building at 321 Bound Brook Road, also in Middlesex. He said the property, previously occupied by a shower and bath supply company, was listed and sold in three days to a local investor, who now plans to lease the building.
In a third deal, Boniakowski inked the sale of a freestanding, 1,300-square-foot building at 194 Lafayette Ave. in Edison. The buyer, We Capital LLC, plans to renovate the property based on the requirements of a retail, service, professional or medical user.
