Eastman Cos. is set to welcome four new tenants to a 69,000-square-foot office building in Florham Park after a series of newly completed leases by CBRE.
In the largest among them, insurance company Acrisure LLC will occupy 8,717 square feet at 23 Vreeland Road, a two-story property just off Columbia Turnpike. Eastman Director of Leasing Eric Maurer represented ownership in tandem with CBRE’s Jonathan Meisel, Daniel Casey and Erin Wenzler, while Trevor Patterson of Newmark represented the tenant.
The CBRE team also represented ownership in a deal with Hedinger & Lawless LLC, a law firm, which committed to 5,248 square feet, while architecture firm Appel Design Group and DeTorres & DeGeorge Family Law are taking 3,591 and 1,402 square feet, respectively.
Peter Shikar of CBRE represented Hedinger & Lawless, while Michael Marchese of Chilmark Real Estate Services represented DeTorres & DeGeorge.
“With these four new transactions, our team has now completed 13 leases within the Eastman Companies’ portfolio since the start of the pandemic,” Meisel said. “Despite the ongoing challenges, ownership continues to reinvest in their properties and work closely with tenants to meet their unique real estate requirements.”
The deals come just over two years after Eastman completed a series of upgrades at 23 Vreeland, seeking to capitalize on its location near Route 10 and downtown Florham Park. The improvements include a new tenant lounge, a café, a conference center, a remodeled lobby, electric car chargers that are free to users and a second-floor common area.
