Wonder Restaurants has expanded its brick-and-mortar footprint in the state with a new 2,800-square-foot lease in Springfield, in a deal arranged by The Goldstein Group.
The operator, which sells meals from a mix of well-recognized chefs and restaurants, has taken space at the General Green Shopping Center at 201-225 Morris Ave. Its new location places it just off Interstate 78 and alongside Crunch Fitness, Gold Valley Supermarket, GNC and other local and regional tenants.
The Goldstein Group Vice President Marc Palestina and President Chuck Lanyard represented the landlord, Springfield Company LLC, and the tenant.
“Wonder Restaurants has changed its format from a truck delivery system to brick-and-mortar restaurants located in shopping centers,” Palestina said. “General Green Shopping Center affords them great visibility to the local community and with the recent addition of Crunch Fitness more people are visiting the center.”
In a news release, brokers noted that Wonder Restaurants’ storefronts can offer consumers up to 30 food brands. Some locations will have limited dine-in space but are vertically integrated and allow the business to do everything from cooking to having its own app for delivery or takeout.
