PREIT is continuing its update of its flagship Cherry Hill Mall, announcing the debut of four retail and dining tenants and a newly signed lease with another well-known brand.
According to the company, the latest additions to the 1.3 million-square-foot complex include Coach, which enhances the center’s upscale fashion offerings, and the active and casual apparel concept known as OFFLINE by Aerie. Another newly opened store, POP MART, expands the Route 38 mall’s specialty retail lineup with the character-based collectibles store’s only location in the Philadelphia area, while Suki Hana offers fast-casual Japanese cuisine including teriyaki bowls, sushi and hibachi-style favorites.
The Philadelphia-based mall owner, meantime, said it has also signed a new relocation lease with lululemon to allow the apparel brand to expand into a prominent location within the center.
“These openings reflect the sustained interest we continue to see from both national and specialty retailers seeking a presence at Cherry Hill Mall,” said Joe Aristone, chief revenue officer at PREIT. “Each addition enhances the overall experience for our shoppers while contributing to the long-term strength and momentum of the property.”
The company noted that the openings build on the mall’s broader leasing and redevelopment momentum. Construction is underway on a more than 120,000-square-foot DICK’s House of Sport, a highly anticipated, next-generation retail concept from DICK’S Sporting Goods that is slated to open this year, in a project that will further enhance the tenant mix and reinforce Cherry Hill Mall’s position as a leading regional destination for retail, dining and experiences.
