Denholtz has delivered more than 73,000 square feet of new industrial space in Bridgewater, having already leased nearly a third of the building to a supermarket technology company.
Known as Northpark at Bridgewater, the project at 1488 Route 22 has a flexible layout, 36-foot clear ceiling heights, 12 tailboard docks, a drive-in door, LED lighting and more than 100 on-site parking spaces. It also benefits from its location on the busy highway and near interstates 78 and 287, providing strong regional connectivity for the types of manufacturing, warehousing and logistics users that the developer hopes to attract.
One such firm, DIGI America Inc., has leased 21,017 of the building’s 73,429 square feet, according to a news release. Denholtz announced the deal while noting that the tenant provides, installs and services advanced supermarket scales, automated wrapping machines, label printers and integrated packaging solutions for major retailers, including Costco and Walmart, as part of an expansive portfolio of retail and food industry equipment and automation systems.
“DIGI America’s lease reflects both the quality of Northpark at Bridgewater and the sustained demand for Class A industrial space in the Somerset County market,” said Kristine B. Hurlbut, senior vice president of leasing at Denholtz. “This is exactly the kind of established, forward-thinking company we envisioned as a tenant here and we’re thrilled to have them.”
Zimmel Associates Vice President Jordan Zimmel represented Denholtz, the privately held investment management firm based in Red Bank. Colliers Vice President Linda Hill represented the tenant.
