A new 135,000-square-foot Wayfair store is coming to the Princeton area, as the online home furnishings retailer continues to build its brick-and-mortar footprint across the country.
Slated to open in 2027, the large-format location will occupy space along Route 1 at Bridge33 Capital’s Nassau Park Pavilion in West Windsor. That’s where the company will look to serve shoppers across central New Jersey and nearby Pennsylvania, offering what it described as a broad assortment of furniture, décor, housewares and appliances.
Shoppers will be able to take items home from the store or arrange delivery of larger pieces through Wayfair’s logistics network, depending on the product, the company said. The shop will also offer free design services for projects of any size.
“Opening in Princeton represents another exciting milestone as we continue expanding Wayfair’s physical retail presence across America,” said Liza Lefkowski, vice president of merchandising and stores at Wayfair. “We’re creating a destination where customers can explore inspiring spaces, experience the quality and breadth of our assortment firsthand, and seamlessly shop across online and in-store channels with the convenience and flexibility they expect from Wayfair.”
Located at 3495 Brunswick Pike, Nassau Park Pavilion spans 760,000 square feet and has a strong mix of national co-tenants and steady customer traffic, according to a news release. The new Wayfair store comes as part of the company’s growing physical retail footprint, which also includes existing locations in the Chicago, Atlanta and Columbus, Ohio, markets and upcoming stores in New York’s Westchester County, Fort Lauderdale and Cincinnati.
The Princeton-area location also helps it build its presence across the Northeast and serve customers throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
“We are proud to partner with Wayfair at Nassau Park Pavilion,” said Carmen Decker, executive vice president, real estate operations and strategy at Bridge33 Capital. “Bringing their immersive, large-format experience to the center reflects our commitment to curating a best-in-class retail destination, and we look forward to the energy this flagship store will bring to the Princeton community.”
