A new McDonald’s has opened its doors at a busy intersection in Oakland, where it occupies nearly 3,700 square feet under a lease announced last fall.
The Goldstein Group, which represented the chain, said the restaurant occupies 1.89 acres at the signalized corner of West Oakland Ave and Route 202. The 3,655-square-foot store is also directly south of Interstate 287 and within a retail cluster that includes Walgreens, ShopRite, Columbia Bank, City MD, Ace Hardware and many other prominent brands.
“We were pleased to assist McDonald’s in expanding their presence in northern New Jersey,” said Chuck Lanyard, president of The Goldstein Group. “This Oakland site, adjacent to I-287, is a prime location with great highway exposure and access.”
Lanyard and Marc Palestina, formerly of The Goldstein Group, brokered the lease at 24 West Oakland Ave. Jordan Leibowitz and David Zolotorofe represented the landlord, Landmark Oakland 24 LLC.
