Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corp. has leased nearly 6,700 square feet outside Princeton, in a newly announced deal by Princeton Property Partners.
Commonly known as Wabtec, the publicly traded company is consolidating at 821 Alexander Road in West Windsor after acquiring Frauscher Signal Technologies earlier this year, according to a news release. The new 6,651-square-foot space, which it’s leasing from Hilton Realty Co., will include teams from Wabtec’s New York City office and a nearby building that Frauscher had occupied.
Sab Russo, president of Princeton Property Partners, represented Pittsburgh-based Wabtec and Frauscher, noting that access to Northeast Corridor rail service at the nearby Princeton Junction train station “was critical in their decision.” He added that the deal will allow Hill Wallack LLP to recapture and reoccupy the 4,000-square-foot space at 21 Roszel Road that Frauscher had subleased for the past six years.
Peter Hedley represented Hilton Realty in-house.
