An accounting firm has purchased a nearly 2,900-square-foot mixed-use building in downtown Clifton, in a newly announced deal by NAI James E. Hanson.
The buyer, TSW Accounting Solutions LLC, is moving from an adjacent space and plans to use the property at 625 Van Houten Ave. as its new office. It also expects to lease the apartments on the building’s second floor to generate additional income.
NAI Hanson’s David M. Ukleja represented the practice, which offers specialized business and personal tax preparation, in its acquisition of the 2,865-square-foot structure. Century 21 Cedarcrest Realty’s Thomas Siso and Joseph Scotto represented the seller, Lacki’s Jewelry.
“The Clifton market continues to offer highly coveted spaces at fair value that businesses can leverage to increase profitability,” Ukleja said. “I’m happy to have helped our client secure an income-producing property just a few steps away from their former location, and I wish them all the best with their business and new property.”
In announcing the deal, NAI Hanson noted that 625 Van Houten is near several highways including routes 3, 19, 21 and 46 as well as Interstate 80. Nearby eateries and retailers include Dunkin, Lonni Cuts, Mario’s Restaurant and Pizzeria, Carvel and Dollar General.
