The final piece of a new 276-unit luxury apartment complex in Somerset County has hit the market, helping to revive an underused site alongside NJ Transit’s Raritan Valley line.
Accurate Builders & Developers, the firm behind what’s known as Crossings at Raritan Station, said leasing is now underway at the remaining 56 units of the Raritan Borough property. The milestone comes around six months after the debut of the first apartments at 59 Second Ave., which the developer has marketed alongside a host of upscale common spaces.
“We are delighted that Crossings at Raritan Station is resonating with local residents looking to stay in the area but in a more modern, amenity-rich setting, and is bringing new residents to the borough of Raritan searching for an elevated lifestyle in a walkable community that is also commuter friendly,” said Jack Klugmann, CEO and president of Accurate Builders & Developers. “The widespread appeal has translated to a strong leasing pace, with new residents moving in and enjoying all that the community and this location have to offer.”
Klugmann’s firm has tapped The Marketing Directors as its leasing team for Crossings, where net effective rents start from $1,777 with incentives. They’re hoping to lure renters to the collection of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom homes with a location that is steps from NJ Transit’s Raritan Borough train station.
The complex is also minutes from downtown Somerville and Raritan Borough’s own central business district, while providing easy access to Route 202 and other highways. On-site amenities include a lobby lounge with a coffee bar, a modern fitness center with virtual training technology and a host of outdoor spaces with lounge seating, grills and a fire pit.
“There continues to be strong demand for high-quality residences, upscale amenities, access to mass-transit and downtown shopping and dining, and that’s exactly what Crossings at Raritan Station offers,” said Jacqueline Urgo, president of The Marketing Directors. “The location right next to the Raritan train station and downtown Somerville is perfect for residents who enjoy living a well-connected lifestyle in a suburban environment.”
