Accurate Builders & Developers has leased more than 80 percent of a new luxury apartment complex in Raritan Borough, thanks in part to a surge in demand for home office space.
The 276-unit property, Crossings at Raritan Station, is off to a strong start in 2021 after the recent launch of its final phase. More than half of all leases signed this year are for apartments that include a home office space, the developer said, touting the option as a key draw for renters with flexible work arrangements.
Also appealing is the site’s location adjacent to NJ Transit’s Raritan Valley line, plus a long list of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces.
“This is an exciting milestone at the community as it illustrates the strong appeal Crossings has in the marketplace,” said Jack Klugmann, CEO and president of Accurate Builders. “Although the proximity to the train station is a compelling selling point for us, we are finding that the main reason people choose to live at Crossings is they love the modern feel of the building, the quality of the residences, and the suburban ambience of Raritan. It’s a complete lifestyle package that is resonating with the public.”
Located at 59 Second Ave., Crossings at Raritan Station has a mix of one- and two-bedroom homes, with monthly rents starting from $2,100 net effective. The developer and its leasing team with The Marketing Directors have sought to attract renters with upscale apartments and high-end amenities such as a lobby lounge with a coffee bar, a modern fitness center with virtual training technology and a host of outdoor spaces with lounge seating, grills and a fire pit.
Residents will also have access to a tennis court, a basketball court and a dog park. The property, designed by Devereaux and Associates, is minutes from downtown Raritan and Somerville’s central business district, along with Route 202 and other area highways, plus a host of well-known parks and recreational options.
