Accurate has opened the doors to its new 185-unit upscale apartment property in downtown Little Falls, marking the latest addition to its fast-growing rental portfolio.
The developer on Monday said it has welcomed its first new residents to Citizen Little Falls, at 405 Main St., where it hopes to capitalize on a location about a half-mile from NJ Transit rail service and minutes from several key retail destinations. It’s also offering a series of high-end amenities to support the collection of one- and two-bedroom homes, all of which were on display recently during a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local officials.
“This is a big day in Little Falls,” Mayor James Damiano said. “We have now replaced what was a sore spot in town with a very sweet building. Not only do we have a beautiful building here in Little Falls that replaced a blighted site, but we now have a tremendous long-term partnership with Accurate. I would like to thank all of you for your hard work in making this building come together. Working with the Accurate team has been a pleasure.”
Citizen Little Falls opened for preleasing in June, with net-effective monthly rents starting at $2,640, the developer said. Its debut comes as township officials work to energize the downtown core through new housing stock, new businesses and the promotion of bus and rail ridership, in a district that allows residents to walk to restaurants, shops and parks.
With architecture by Lessard Design and interiors by HH Designers, Accurate’s property offers luxury apartments and amenities such as landscaped outdoor courtyards and green spaces, a modern fitness center and a business center with free WiFi. Renters are also less than two miles from the Willowbrook Mall and ShopRite, the developer said, adding that Route 46 runs along Little Falls’ northern border, offering easy access to interstates 80 and 287, routes 23 and 3 and the Garden State Parkway.
“Citizen Little Falls reflects our commitment to the township to create a residential community that meets the lifestyle needs of today’s renters, attracts new residents and has a positive impact on the economic growth and vitality of the neighborhood,” said Jack Klugmann, CEO and president of Accurate. “We would like to thank Mayor Damiano, the Township Council, Passaic County officials and the many agencies involved whose professionalism and vision helped make this project a reality.”
