Sudler Cos. has secured a full-building, 75,000-square-foot industrial lease in Lakewood with a seller and upfitter of emergency and specialty vehicles, brokers with Avison Young announced.
The tenant, First Priority Group, has taken the space at 1719 Oak St. as part of a major expansion of its production capacity, according to a news release. The deal nearly doubles its existing footprint at a facility at 2444 Ridgeway Blvd. in Manchester, the brokers said, allowing the company to meet accelerating nationwide demand for its next-generation ambulances and emergency transport units.
Avison Young principals JC Giordano, Tim Cadigan and Matt Turse and Vice President Steve Gianis represented the tenant. Sudler’s Jeff Hale represented the landlord in-house.
“This lease gives FPG the room and resources to scale their operations in a facility designed for efficiency and long-term growth,” Cadigan said. “Their expansion in Lakewood underscores a strong commitment to delivering best-in-class emergency vehicles for essential service providers locally and across the country.”
First Priority Group is slated to move to its new space in June. According to Avison Young, the facility delivers scale, layout flexibility and efficiency enhancements required to support FPG’s rapidly expanding customer base of municipalities, EMS providers and health care systems, while it marks a key milestone in the business’ plan to boost production capacity and modernize operational workflows within a purpose-built industrial environment.
The Lakewood location also provides a skilled labor pool, access to major distribution routes, and ample power, while it will strengthen the city’s industrial base by adding new manufacturing activity and increasing the township’s appeal to high-value industrial users.
“Our Manchester facility played a vital role in building the foundation of who we are today,” said Alex Cherepakhov, CEO of First Priority Group. “The transition to Lakewood represents the next phase of our evolution — expanding our capabilities, increasing capacity and positioning our team to meet the growing demands of our dealer partners and customers, while strengthening our operational efficiency and long-term growth.”
