Avison Young has completed a renovation of more than 31,000 square feet of office space in Elizabeth, where it worked on behalf of Terreno Realty Corp.
Led by Alan Zambarano, a senior project manager with Avison Young’s New Jersey team, the work has helped reposition part of 620 Division St., a 154,527-square-foot commercial property. The improvements at the two-story structure include upgrades to its lobby and office spaces.
“Terreno Realty Corporation has done a tremendous job upgrading the office suites and common areas at 620 Division Street to appeal to a diverse range of occupier industries,” said Zambarano, a member of AY’s project and construction management groups in the state. “By renovating the entire office building, including the lobby, from a single tenant space into multiple offices, the building will provide several new opportunities for companies of various sizes seeking modernized, flexible space.”
The real estate services firm noted that the office space at 620 Division St. is currently 77 percent leased.
“We have a longstanding relationship with Alan Zambarano and Avison Young and given their proven track record of successfully completing construction projects, they were the clear choice for the assignment,” Terreno’s Jake DeConinck said. “Our vision is to create an upgraded experience for our tenants at 620 Division Street where companies feel safe and productive as they return to the office.”
