A bagel shop has opened its doors at a Woodbridge shopping center after a recent lease for nearly 2,100 square feet, in a deal arranged by Azarian Realty Co.
The space at Plaza K, a 30,000-square-foot complex at Route 1 and Ford Avenue, marks the second location for Fast Bagel. The business occupies a ground-floor, 2,093-square-foot unit at the two-story property, where it joins tenants such as The Vitamin Shoppe, Sleep Number, Any Garment Cleaners and others.
Kevin Pelio of Azarian Realty represented both the landlord and the tenant in the deal with Fast Bagel, whose original location is in the Somerset section of Franklin. He noted that the business began by selling homemade bagels wholesale to local restaurants and hotels before opening its first brick-and-mortar location shortly thereafter.
“It is a quickly growing establishment and it stands out from the bagel crowd as it abides by strong principles: fast and fresh bagels, sandwiches and coffees, all made to order,” Azarian said in a news release. “Its Woodbridge location is the second location for the brand and will serve as its flagship prototype design, with multiple units currently in various stages of development.”
