A bedding products company has leased nearly 66,000 square feet at a Wood-Ridge industrial building, in a transaction arranged by Team Resources Inc.
Brokers with the firm represented both parties in the deal at 3 Ethel Blvd., where Cathay Home committed to 65,762 square feet. The tenant, a manufacturer and distributor of soft home textile products, is leasing the space from JRMA Holding LLC.
Team Resources’ David Cantor and Greg Sholom completed the deal for the Lyndhurst-based brokerage firm.
“This property was leased by Cathay prior to any of our marketing efforts,” Cantor said. “Cathay was especially interested in the building’s extensive loading, high ceilings and proximity to New York.”
The firm on Thursday announced several other deals, including a 20,000-square-foot lease at 90 Dayton Ave. in Passaic. Team Resources’ David Knapel represented both the tenant, Clifton Associates Inc., a privately owned fabric company, and landlord Passaic Industrial Properties.
“His previous location was being redeveloped and this location provided a new location close in proximity to his former location,” Knapel said. “This was imperative for the tenant, who wanted to maintain his workforce and other benefits of the area.”
