Just five months after opening, one of LeFrak’s newest residential buildings in Jersey City is on its way to being fully leased.
The developer announced this week that Revetment House, a 163-unit rental property in the city’s Hamilton Park section, is 90 percent leased. The building along 10th Street is also 70 percent occupied after welcoming its first residents in late 2018.
“Revetment House is exactly what Hamilton Park needed,” said Richard Wernick, executive leasing director at LeFrak, said in a prepared statement. “The project has captivated renters with its beautiful, contemporary design and comprehensive lifestyle experience in one of Jersey City’s most desirable neighborhoods, and we look forward to continuing this incredible momentum until the development is fully leased.”
Sitting atop a historic railroad embankment, Revetment House has an industrial chic design with high-end amenities and upscale apartments, according to a news release. Layouts range from studio to three-bedroom units, while LeFrak recently debuted interior amenities such as a fitness center, residents’ lounge and business center.
The complex is a sister building to an existing LeFrak property known as Embankment House, all within a brownstone-lined neighborhood that is also home to several high-profile residential projects. The developer also touted the proximity of the Newport PATH and light rail stations and said Revetment House will provide free shuttle service to and from the former.
The project is LeFrak’s fourth in Hamilton Park, which is just outside the developer’s flagship Newport neighborhood.
