The Building Owners and Managers Association recently honored Bergman Real Estate Group for its efforts at a recently updated, 65,000-square-foot office building in Rochelle Park.
According to the real estate firm, the four-story Sherbrooke Office Center II at 201 West Passaic St. received BOMA New Jersey’s 2022 TOBY Award in the Outstanding Building of the Year, Suburban Office Park Low Rise category. The organization presented the award, one of its highest honors, during the BOMA Awards Celebration on Oct. 27 in Florham Park.
Bergman Senior Property Manager Tom Castellano and Building Manager Tim Ansberry accepted the award.
“Our team has done an excellent job overseeing the transformation of 201 West Passaic Street since we acquired the property in March 2020,” said Michael Bergman, CEO and president of Bergman Real Estate Group. “We completely modernized the common areas throughout, including the lobbies, corridors, restrooms and exterior with all new furnishings, artwork and interior landscaping. As a result, we have seen very positive tenant retention and have had significant lease up with new tenants.”
Bergman also announced that Robin Ann Juron, a senior property manager with the firm, won an award for 2022 BOMA Office Building Property Management Professional Robin, after being nominated by Vice President Steven Bergman.

The recognition follows last year’s TOBY award for Bergman’s Century Campus, a three-building, 280,000-square-foot office park in Parsippany.
“To be awarded a TOBY is an incredible honor,” Michael Bergman said. “For us, it’s proof positive that we are holding true to our mission — providing the best quality for our tenants. Similar to the other buildings in our portfolio, we focus on ensuring 201 West Passaic Street will be a premier office building with first class amenities in an incredible location.”
Bergman announced the awards this week, noting that 201 West Passaic is easily accessible from routes 4, 17 and 208, Interstate 80 and the Garden State Parkway. A host of retail, dining and hospitality options are also within minutes of the property.
