A biopharmaceutical firm has signed a 2,300-square-foot office lease in Millburn, in a deal arranged by brokers with Midtown Commercial Realty.
According to the leasing team, the space at 343 Millburn Ave. will serve as a new home for Aruvant Sciences after its recent relocation from New York City. The company will occupy part of what’s known as the Millburn Courtyard Building, which provides quick access to Interstate 78, Route 24 and other area highways.
Midtown Commercial’s Carlo Caparruva and Etan Tammam completed the transaction.
“The leadership at Aruvant recognized that back office operations were going to change with the pandemic,” Caparruva said. “They moved out of Manhattan to temporary space in Summit, and that is where Midtown stepped in to find them a new home.
“The landlord and the Aruvant folks had a great dialogue as how the space needed to look and feel to all those who not only visited the office but those who worked there as well. The space was renovated from top to bottom and delivered ahead of schedule.”
Midtown Commercial noted that Aruvant Sciences, part of the Roivant family of companies, is a biopharmaceutical company committed to finding gene therapy solutions for rare diseases.
