A logistics firm has subleased more than 260,000 square feet at a Heller Industrial Parks building in Edison, according to brokers with The Blau & Berg Co.
The Short Hills-based firm said it represented the tenant, One Stop Logistics LLC, in the transaction at 77 Executive Ave. The midsized provider of freight coordination, which is based in Manalapan, was seeking a freestanding building to serve as a contract warehousing operation.
Brian P. DiPinto, supply chain solutions, logistics and rail specialist with Blau & Berg, was the procuring broker for the tenant, while Linda Hill and Doug Bansbach of Cushman & Wakefield represented the sublandlord.
“The property’s proximity to Port Elizabeth and Port Newark terminals as well as the New York Container Terminal in Staten Island, (New York), made it ideal for One Stop Logistics’ needs,” Dipinto said in a prepared statement. “In addition, Heller Industrial Parks made the deal easy to execute given their track record of superior tenant relations.”
One Stop Logistics operates several other warehouse and office locations in the region. In a news release, Blau & Berg said the tenant will use the site as a dispatch location for the Northeast market, citing its five acres of flat, paved space and the ability to consolidate equipment and park trucks.
