A restaurant chain is making its entrance to New Jersey with the opening of a new location in North Plainfield, following a lease negotiated by NAI James E. Hanson.
The Harrisburg, Pennsylvania-based operator, Arooga’s Grille House and Sports Bar, has leased 7,337 square feet at 1250 Route 22 East, NAI Hanson said in a news release. It will be the first of what the chain expects to be several locations in northern and central New Jersey, including a second location that is expected to open in East Brunswick later this year.
NAI Hanson’s Joan Cenicola represented the tenant, Toson Food & Beverage No. Plainfield LLC, in the deal with North Plainfield UE LLC. The firm took on the assignment through its affiliation with the NAI Global network and NAI CIR, a Lemoyne, Pennsylvania-based brokerage that serves as the national representative for Arooga’s.
“Immersive and unique dining experiences such as Arooga’s are still in high demand among consumers,” Cenicola said. “An ideal location such as 1250 Route 22 East presents Arooga’s with the demographics and visibility necessary for their successful expansion into New Jersey.
“We look forward to continuing to work with the chain to secure similar locations throughout the state and negotiate deals that enable them to see continued success.”
Arooga’s Grille House and Sports Bar operates 16 locations throughout the Northeast.
