BNE Real Estate Group has taken the wraps off its new 140-unit, luxury apartment building in downtown Bloomfield.
The Livingston-based developer announced this week that it has opened the property known as The Green at Bloomfield, which is wedged between Bloomfield Avenue and Broad Street, and that units are available for lease. It’s among the latest mixed-use redevelopment projects in the Essex County suburb, which has attracted developers in recent years based on its proximity to rail service and a growing number of restaurants and retailers.
“After months of anticipation, it’s extremely exciting to open our doors to the long list of people who’ve expressed interest in The Green’s unparalleled apartments and unique set of upscale amenities,” BNE Real Estate Group Partner Jonathan Schwartz said in a prepared statement. “The building promises to be a centerpiece for a new era in Bloomfield, as the township continues to evolve into one of the region’s most sought-after transit hubs.”
The Green sits in what BNE describes as an energetic part of town, just a short walk from the Bloomfield NJ Transit station. Along with a mix of apartments ranging from studios to two-bedrooms, the property has some 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
It also includes amenities such as a modern fitness center, coffee bar, social lounge and work-from-home areas, along with a roof terrace with resort-style lounge seating, package acceptance service and on-site parking.
