Western apparel chain Boot Barn has taken 20,000 square feet along Route 17 in Paramus, in a newly announced deal by Welco Realty Inc.
According to a news release, the space just north of Midland Avenue will be the retailer’s first in Bergen County. It’s leasing the location at 450 Route 17 North under a deal with Paramus Roller Skating Arena Inc.
Welco Realty President Jerry Welkis and Michael Horne of RIPCO Real Estate represented the landlord and tenant, respectively.
“We were very excited to be able to bring Boot Barn, a prominent boot and shoe retailer to northern New Jersey,” Welkis said. “Our clients, Linda & George Yiannou, are excited to have Boot Barn as their new tenant and feel they will be very complimentary to the adjoining tenant, DXL Clothing.”
In announcing the deal, Welco noted that Boot Barn started in 1978 supporting the western lifestyle exclusively and has expanded its brands with all customers and their various lifestyles in mind.
