Dollar Tree has continued its rapid expansion in New Jersey with the addition of four stores totaling more than 37,000 square feet, brokers with R.J. Brunelli & Co. LLC said Wednesday.
The firm, which serves as Dollar Tree’s exclusive real estate representative statewide, said the stores include a 10,800-square-foot end cap space at 90 Dayton Ave. in Passaic. Expected to open in April 2018, the store will co-anchor a roughly 50,000-square-foot shopping center that is being developed on the site of a former industrial building.
In Mercer County, Dollar Tree opened last month in an 8,758-square-foot inline space at the 218,000-square-foot Plainsboro Plaza, R.J. Brunelli said. The new locations also include an 8,326-square-foot store at 700 Lighthouse, a 108,000-square-foot complex in Barnegat, as well as a 9,300-square-foot freestanding space at 4315 New Jersey Ave. in Wildwood.
Both Jersey Shore locations are slated to open next fall.
R.J. Brunelli President and Principal Danielle Brunelli brokered all four Dollar Tree leases, while CEO and Principal Ron DeLuca also represented the landlord in the Plainsboro Plaza deal.
