A restaurant building and liquor license in Burlington County have changed hands for a combined $900,000, in a newly announced transaction by Rose Commercial Real Estate.
According to the brokerage firm, the deal involved a 3,700-square-foot property at 28 South Church Road in Maple Shade, the former home of Roots Café and Forno Pizzeria. Adam Rose, president of Rose Commercial, represented restauranteur Ramualdo Lamberti in the sale of the structure and the license to Lin Family Plaza LLC.
The buyer, a previous Rose Commercial client, now plans to use the space for an eatery known as Oceancrat – The Boiling Seafood, according to a news release. In addition to the liquor license, the property has outdoor dining, ample parking and visible signage, providing an attractive opportunity for the operator to relocate from Mount Laurel.
“Working with past clients is always great but to have two at the same time and being able to meet both of their unique needs is even better,” Rose said.
