The owner of a transportation company has paid $850,000 for a 14,000-square-foot industrial building in Middlesex County, according to a broker with Bussel Realty Corp.
In a news release, Bussel said it represented the buyer in the acquisition of 930 Lincoln Blvd. in Middlesex Borough. The firm identified the buyer as A & W Properties/Layla Transportation Bus Co. and the seller as Hexicon Inc.
Tony Mircovich, vice president of BRC, represented the purchaser, while CBRE Group represented the seller.
“This was a difficult requirement due to the amount of parking area needed,” Mircovich said. “Since the property sits on 3.31 acres, the size of the site was the driving factor for the acquisition. The new owner will utilize the site’s ample parking for school buses as this is a permitted use.”
Bussel said 930 Lincoln Blvd. features 1,500 square feet of office space, three loading docks, two drive-in doors, 16- to 18-foot ceiling heights and 25 parking spaces. It sits near Exit 8 of Interstate 287 and routes 28 and 22.
