A local Catholic Charities affiliate has leased nearly 17,000 square feet of office space across two buildings in Hamilton, brokers with Fennelly Associates said Thursday.
The deals, which will allow the nonprofit to consolidate from three locations, include an 11,170-square-foot transaction at 1670 Whitehorse Hamilton Square Road, according to a news release. In the second lease, the organization is taking 5,597 square feet at 3840 Quakerbridge Road, about 15 minutes away.
Fennelly Associates President Jerry Fennelly and Corporate Real Estate Specialist Patrick Dintrone represented Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton, a nonprofit agency that offers mental health, poverty reduction and social and crisis services to individuals and families, particularly those impacted by trauma and adversity, the news release said. The deals continue Fennelly’s decade-plus relationship with the organization, which called on the brokerage firm when it sought to go from three locations to two.
At 1670 Whitehorse Hamilton Square Road, Catholic Charities will occupy part of a two-story, 35,000-square-foot building across from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton, with easy access to Route 130, interstates 195 and 295 and the New Jersey Turnpike, the news release said. The second location is inside a two-story, 33,000-square-foot building within the VanNest Office Park, which is within walking distance of banking, shopping and restaurant options.
“One of the joys of working in the commercial real estate industry is utilizing our skillset to help organizations that make tremendous impacts in our local communities,” Fennelly said. “Considering their work has and will continue to help so many individuals and families, it’s our pleasure to provide the services needed to help Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton, consolidate their spaces here in Hamilton. We wish them the best of luck and success in their new spaces.”
