CBRE has promoted a member of its New Jersey project management team to director of the practice, the commercial real estate services firm announced Thursday.
In the new role, Eric Brown will focus on business development as he partners with CBRE’s leasing and sales professionals on new opportunities, according to a news release. He is now tasked with continuing the practice’s growth in New Jersey by solidifying its work in the industrial sector while expanding focus to other service lines such as life sciences, health care and higher education.
“We are excited to have Eric Brown lead our project management practice in New Jersey,” said Eric Wagner, senior director of project management for the tristate region. “His strong leadership aligns with our continued growth and commitment to bring value to our clients. Eric’s experience is exceptional as he has overseen some of our largest accounts in New Jersey.”
Brown, previously a senior project manager, has partnered with clients and managed the efforts of design consultants and general contractors to achieve project goals, the news release said. He has more than 10 years of experience in the construction industry, including four years at VVA Project Managers as a senior associate, and has worked on large interior fit-outs, building repositioning and industrial projects.
His new role also calls for him to coordinate with leasing professionals in New Jersey to support occupiers, working closely with agency and asset management to support landlords.
