A developer has completed its first New Jersey industrial project, offering nearly 100,000 square feet of new warehouse space in Jersey City just minutes outside New York City.
Brokers with CBRE announced that their client, CT Realty, has delivered the 95,808-square-foot project at 79 Thomas McGovern Drive. The developer and leasing team are now touting a property that offers 36-foot ceiling heights and other modern features for a so-called last-mile user seeking space in an increasingly tight submarket.
“It is very rare to have a brand new warehouse facility located in a last mile distribution area with the type of quality space offered at 79 Thomas McGovern Drive,” said Thomas Monahan, a vice chairman with CBRE. “The property is ideally located with immediate access to New York City via the Holland and Lincoln Tunnels and within minutes of the Newark and Elizabeth ports, as well as Newark Liberty International Airport.”
Monahan, Stephen D’Amato, Larry Schiffenhaus, Anastasia Lazarides, Lauren Hageman and Gerard Monahan are spearheading the leasing campaign on behalf of CT Realty, a national real estate investment and development company specializing in logistics and e-commerce space.
The complex, which sits on five acres, also features eight dock doors with the option for six more, 87 car parking spaces, LED motion sensors and nearly 2,000 square feet of office space.
“We are excited to unveil this state-of-the-art facility, which is located in one of the hottest industrial markets in the tristate region, to the real estate community,” said Rob Huthnance, executive vice president with CT Realty.
