A real estate brokerage has taken more than 11,000 square feet at a newly renovated office building in Morristown, in the largest of five deals announced by CBRE.
According to the leasing team, a series of upgrades by Vision Real Estate Partners has resulted in 45,000 square feet of new activity at 1776 On The Green, the 146,000-square-foot property at 67 East Park Place. That includes the 11,315-square-foot commitment by Compass, the residential real estate firm, along with a 7,106-square-foot lease by wealth management and financial services provider Mercer Advisors.
CBRE’s Jon Williams and Mike Nieliwodski represented ownership, with Chilmark Real Estate Services’ Michael Witko representing the tenant in the Mercer Advisors deal.
“1776 On The Green has surpassed all expectations, attracting several quality tenants despite a slowdown in the market due to the pandemic,” Williams said. “One of the main reasons for the property’s allure is that it offers a distinct experience for tenants returning to the office. Ownership created more than just amazing space, but also access to some of the best amenities in the market.”
Those offerings include a ground-floor restaurant by renowned chef David Burke, a Topgolf Swing Suite and a roof deck overlooking the historic Morristown Green.
“What we offer at 1776 On The Green is an institutional-quality asset in an unrivaled downtown suburban setting,” said Sam Morreale, Vision Real Estate Partners’ co-founder and managing partner. “The enhanced tenant experience by way of immediate Morristown Green presence and access to shops and dining is a proven combination for success. We look forward to another successful experience with CBRE.”
The other new leases at the property include a 6,998-square-foot commitment by DataMotion, a secure data delivery company relocating from Florham Park. Meantime, accounting and business management software provider Sage took 1,000 square feet as part of its relocation from within Morristown, while Metin committed to 1,096 square feet.
