A flooring company has leased nearly 2,000 square feet at a recently updated shopping center in Middletown, in a newly announced deal by CBRE.
In a news release, the brokerage team said the two-building, 21,377-square-foot Country Plaza property at 1860-1876 Route 35 is now fully occupied after the transaction by Ideal Tile. The seller of porcelain, ceramic, stone, glass and mosaic tiles is leasing the space from 5 S Realty, joining recently added cotenants including Casa Calaveras, SportsCare Physical Therapy, Urgent Paws Vet Clinic, Haus of Nails and The Bagel Nook.
CBRE’s John Hanlon and Nicole Nannola represented ownership.
“We are excited to announce that, with the most recent lease to Ideal Tile, Country Plaza has reached 100 percent occupancy,” Nannola said. “Since taking the assignment to market, which had just one tenant occupying 1,689 square feet, our team was able to attract a number of well-known regional and local retailers. In addition, ownership made a significant capital investment to update and renovate the plaza to meet the needs of its tenants.”
CBRE noted that Country Plaza is easily accessible by Route 35 and Cherry Tree Lane, adding that the landlord completed renovations to the exterior in early 2023. The brokers are now marketing a pad site at the center that can accommodate a 2,500-square-foot, freestanding building with a drive-thru.
