The owner of a newly renovated, 250,000-square-foot office building in Woodcliff Lake has appointed CBRE as its leasing agent, the real estate services firm announced Monday.
Capstone Realty Group, the landlord at 50 Tice Blvd., has tapped CBRE for the assignment after completing more than $3.5 million in building upgrades at the four-story complex. Those improvements include a new atrium lounge and coffee bar, executive multimedia conference center, a gourmet full-service café with private dining rooms and a newly opened fitness center with locker rooms and shower.
The CBRE leasing team includes Robert Norton, Greg Barkan and Sean Morley. In a news release, Norton said the firm is targeting 20,000- to 50,000-square-foot tenants for what it called “the last remaining contiguous block of space in the most visible and highest-quality office building” in the Upper Bergen submarket.
“These upgrades put 50 Tice in a class by itself and make this building the most attractive to larger corporate tenants that are looking for more amenities and collaborative work areas,” said Norton, a first vice president based in CBRE’s Saddle Brook office.
Other upgrades at 50 Tice include new environmental control systems, HVAC equipment and multimedia directories and tenant notification screens. With the recent improvements, Capstone hopes to capitalize on a location with direct access to the Garden State Parkway at Exit 171, 30 minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport and 20 minutes from Manhattan.
