A growing brewery and restaurant chain has tapped a New Jersey-based team with CBRE to spearhead its expansion across the U.S.
Based in Meadville, Pennsylvania, Voodoo Brewing Co. currently has seven locations in the Keystone State and an eighth in Cleveland, Ohio, according to a news release. The East Brunswick-based CBRE team of Joseph AmecAngelo and Patti AmecAngelo are now leading the company’s search for additional locations, with an eye toward leased spaces of 4,000 to 7,000 square feet within 10 miles of 25,000 households.
Each location typically provides indoor seating for 75 to 150 people.
“Since opening its first tap room in 2012 and a state-of-the-art production facility in 2017, Voodoo has grown to become a global brand producing award-winning beers and chef inspired meals,” Joseph AmecAngelo said. “We look forward to utilizing our global platform and intimate market knowledge to assist Voodoo in its expansion plans throughout the country.”
In announcing the assignment, CBRE said the employee-owned company has been recognized for its beers, food and logo artwork. Voodoo also boasts a regular presence at prestigious festivals around the world.
“Craft Breweries is a sector that has recently taken off. Voodoo boasts strong unit economics coupled with healthy returns to franchisee operators,” Patti AmecAngelo said. “We look forward to working with CBRE’s network across the U.S. to source locations for new Voodoo Brewing Co. franchisees.”
