A weight loss franchise has found a new home at a Cherry Hill medical office complex, following a newly completed lease by Vantage Real Estate Services.
The brokerage firm represented a group of local surgeons in securing a long-term lease at 1401 Route 70 East, also known as South Jersey Medical Center, for the Medi-Weightloss franchise location. The space is part of a 33,416-square-foot, multilevel office building minutes from Interstate 295, whose new owner is planning a series of renovations.
Vantage RES Adviser Ken Richardson completed the assignment.
“We worked with Ken Richardson to find a space for a new Medi-Weightloss Franchise startup,” said Andrew Caravello, owner of Medi-Weightloss, calling it a “very smooth process and Ken found us the exact place we were looking for.
“Kudos to Vantage for hiring such an experienced and professional real estate broker.”
Medi-Weightloss was developed by physicians, registered dietitians and health professionals in the area of weight loss to help control calorie and carbohydrate intake while eating the optimum amount of protein to preserve muscle mass, according to a news release. The program is evidence-based to result in a successful lifestyle change.
Vantage RES noted that South Jersey Medical Center had not had any new tenants for more than four years but was recently acquired by Pen Del Real Estate. The landlord is now slated to make major renovations and cosmetic improvements, a plan that helped contribute to the new deal with Medi-Weightloss.
Aran P. Ploshansky of Vantage RES, who now serves as the building’s listing agent, negotiated the deal on behalf of ownership.
