Chipotle Mexican Grill has taken more than 2,300 square feet for a new location on a key thoroughfare in Wayne, in a recent deal arranged by The Goldstein Group.
According to a news release, the restaurant will operate a freestanding drive-thru store at 1195-1207 Hamburg Turnpike, occupying a former Valley National Bank site. It’s leasing the 2,325-square-foot space from VanRock Properties, which was represented by The Goldstein Group Executive Vice President Lew Finkelstein and Vice President CJ Huter.
Glen Beyer of Newmark represented the tenant.
“Chipotle is a nationally known restaurant concept which is considered as one of the top brands in the market today,” Huter said. “The site afforded them a fantastic opportunity to enter the Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne, NJ market as the site is located in the densely populated area near several school systems and with the athletic fields next door will be popular with people attending events.”
