A congregation has acquired the longtime home of an outdoor sports business in Cherry Hill, in a newly completed transaction by Wolf Commercial Real Estate.
Brokers with the firm represented the operator, D&Q, in the sale of the 33,000-square-foot property at 1720 Marlton Pike East. The buyer, High Place Church, paid an undisclosed sum for the building and plans to make significant renovations to both the façade and interior to accommodate its growing congregation.
WCRE Principal and Vice President Chris Henderson and Jason Wolf, managing principal, brokered the transaction at the 24.14-acre site. They noted that D&Q — which caters to outdoor enthusiasts of skiing, cycling, snowboarding, tennis, golf and rollerblading— shut its operation in 2019 after a nearly 60-year run in southern New Jersey.
