Hartz Mountain Industries has tapped Colliers International as its leasing agent at a well-known, 370,000-square-foot office complex along the Hudson waterfront.
The real estate services firm announced this week that it’s marketing 235,000 square feet at 1200 Harbor Blvd. in Weehawken, which is anchored by UBS Financial Services. Built in 1989, the 10-story building now has a revamped lobby with polished marble flooring and walls, new security turnstiles, upgraded in-building amenities and refreshed common areas.
The Colliers leasing team includes Agency President Ted Koltis, Senior Managing Director James Bailey, Senior Managing Director Michael Tesser and Executive Director Richard Charkham. They said the building can accommodate users ranging from small firms requiring less than 10,000 square feet to those seeking up to 150,000 square feet of contiguous space.
They also noted that the building, which includes 600 parking spaces, is part of Hartz’s 60-acre mixed-use Lincoln Harbor complex.
“1200 Harbor is an ideal destination for businesses that demand both quality and convenience,” said Charles Reese, vice president of sales and leasing at Hartz Mountain. “The property’s Class A facilities and Lincoln Harbor’s vibrant, mixed-use surrounding environment should appeal to organizations of all sizes across industries.”
Lincoln Harbor, which is directly across the river from New York City, is adjacent to the Lincoln Tunnel entrance. An on-site NY Waterway ferry stop connects the neighborhood to Midtown Manhattan via a six-minute ride, while the complex also boasts a stop on the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail
“Being just steps away from the Weehawken Ferry Terminal, 1200 Harbor Boulevard offers a very unique combination of impressive waterfront views and immediate access to Manhattan,” Bailey said. For his part, Tesser noted that Lincoln Harbor is home to more than 60,000 square feet of retail space, including a new Whole Foods Market and dining options such as Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Chart House, Jack Austin’s and the soon-to-open Blu Alehouse.
